Vision & Mission

VISION:

VPI Will always have a vision of promoting and enhancing rural health. As a unique organization, the initiative will promote programs and activities that will improve health services and data collection in the rural area of Nigeria and empower youth, and render social service to widows, widower and the elderly in such areas. VPI vision is to help to improve life in the rural areas.

MISSION/VOLITION:

VPI shall always pursue a mission of commitment to provide health responsive programs and services. Through IT training, shall produce health data of prevalent disease in all villages of Nigeria eventually.

OBJECTIVES:

• To provide selected free medical /surgical service in rural area in all the 36 state and FCT ( colleagues contemporaries of Dr. Eno-Mark who have clinic and hospitals are being urged to donate time and surgical operations to people in the rural areas who can not afford to pay for such operations). They are harkening to the call, see list
• Encourage well equipped private hospitals and laboratories all over the country to donate time, medical staff, and surgeries.
• To involve medical doctors, nurses, paramedics, auxiliaries etc. in the health programs of the country
• Involve nurse and doctors abroad in a more structured way.
• Help with setting up mobile promotive intervention clinic in the villages, to screen for diseases and identify those that can be given free treatment or otherwise.
• Help with screening diseases
• Help with the education of disease e.g. HIV/AIDS, malaria etc
• Help with immunization programs.
• Help in collecting data for diseases in every village thus ensuring proper channelling of resources, i.e. funds, manpower, equipment.
• Complimenting natural medical practitioners in the rural areas.
• To provide adequate Information, Education and Communication on rural health services.
• To co-operate and collaborate to the extent possible with individuals, government and other non governmental and international agencies in pursuance of its mandate and mission e.g. National Malaria Control Program.
